I joined Cosmic People in 2016 where I now work as a Student Support Manager. I have an excellent understanding of how DSA support works and I am passionate about ensuring students receive the support they are awarded.
My role encompasses the need to look after both support workers and students and ensure each in turn are well supported. I liaise daily with staff and students as well as DSA, universities and assessors. I am meticulous and an excellent communicator, which is crucial for the job I do. It is also important to me that the students find their support beneficial.
As part of my role i interview new staff and I believe it is imperative that not only are they qualified to do the role but they also have the right attributes to deliver the support the students require. I pride myself on really caring about the service we deliver. We are a great team here at Cosmic People and I love being a part of it.
